Dallas-based Evolon Technology and Pennsylvania-based ZeroEyes announced a strategic partnership that unites the long-range object detection capabilities of Evolon Analytics with ZeroEyes’ proprietary AI weapons detection technology. .

Real-time, actionable threat intelligence
Evolon is a developer of proprietary software technology that takes security video and turns it into real-time actionable information and ZeroEyes’ product is the only AI-based gun detection video analytics platform which holds the security law designation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Evolon raised $16 million last year

The integration of the ZeroEyes AI firearms detection platform and Evolon Edge enables users to detect and track individuals carrying firearms at distances greater than a football field, the companies said. This gives users extra time to deal with gun threats in public places such as schools, malls, casinos, etc., the companies said.
They said the aim was to provide earlier detection of a threat, giving enough time to lock down buildings, notify authorities, sound alarms and get people to safety.

Evolon said it provides advanced and highly accurate perimeter security software technology for critical infrastructure protection and central station monitoring. Its patented software and analytics turn video security cameras and security systems into smart devices by eliminating nuisance alerts, the company said.
Evolon was founded by former engineers and scientists at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory, with decades of national security experience designing and deploying advanced security technologies.
ZeroEyes, founded by military veterans of Navy SEALs and special ops, said it provides a proactive, human-verified AI gun detection software solution that integrates with existing security cameras and mitigates mass shootings and gun violence by reducing response times, providing actionable intelligence with images, and providing “clarity among the chaos” – ultimately saving lives.
